This policy explains what Sweet Snout ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, why, and what you can do about it. If anything is unclear, get in touch.
Who we are
Sweet Snout is a small pet-care brand preparing its first product, Fresh Breath & Plaque Powder. We are the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us through our contact form.
What we collect
- When you reserve your discount: your email address, your name, your town or city, and the option you picked (one-time or subscription, number of pouches), plus the date and whether you ticked the marketing box.
- What we don't collect: your street address, postcode and phone number stay in your browser. They are used only to check the form and are never sent to us. We never ask for or collect card or payment details.
- When you contact us: your name, email and message.
- Site usage: anonymous counts of how many visits reach each step (product page, cart, checkout). These use a random number that lives only for the length of one page visit. No cookies, no profile, no personal data.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To tell you when Sweet Snout is ready to ship and to honour your 15% discount. You asked us to, so we rely on our legitimate interests in answering your request (and taking steps at your request before a possible contract).
- To send you news and offers, only if you ticked the box. Our basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.
- To understand which parts of the site work, using the anonymous counts above (legitimate interests).
Cookies
This site sets no cookies by default. If we switch on advertising measurement (Meta Pixel) in future, it will only load after you choose "Accept" on a cookie banner, and you can choose "Reject" instead.
Who we share it with
Our website host, Cloudflare, Inc., runs this site and stores the details above for us as a processor. Cloudflare is based in the United States; transfers are protected by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We don't sell your data and don't share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep reservation details until the discount is used or for 12 months, whichever comes first, unless you've opted in to news, in which case until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept for up to 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Contact us and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
